Sometimes it’s fun to dress up! Phoenix is only 6 weeks old and the opportunity (let alone the “get ready” time) is basically nonexistent or really hard to come by, but sometimes a gal just needs to wear lipstick and heels for no other reason than just because. I found this adorable skirt trolling the aisles at Nordstrom Rack when Phoenix was a brand new baby, and I was stressing over clothes that would actually fit me. Being between maternity and pre-preggo clothes can be frustrating sometimes because I don’t really know what my “new” size actually is. I don’t care what the number is, I just want to feel comfortable and feminine. I’ve been loving the high-waisted trend that is happening right now because not only is it so chic but it also hides my after-baby tummy, which frankly I’m not too eager to get rid of just yet! I love that it is a reminder of my precious baby’s life inside of me. But anyway, I’ve missed being able to dress my waist and I’m taking full advantage of it during the holidays! It’s the best time to dress up in my opinion. Dressing up doesn’t mean you have to spend hours on an outfit. These days a graphic tee and a flouncy skirt is the perfect combo. That’s what I’m loving about fashion these days. You can totally throw together just about anything and it looks good. Xoxo!
