I’m all about healthy hair care. The last couple years my poor hair has been beaten up so bad! It’s in need of some serious TLC. For a long time I used heatless ways to style my hair, but with the babies just pulling out my wand to do a quick curl has been so much easier. I’m getting back on the healthy hair lifestyle one step at a time. First thing’s first, it’s about planning ahead and using less heat for me. This is why I love products like Savvy Curls. With just a minimal amount of planning I have a full head of curly hair in less time! My mornings are so crazy. Sometimes I have 5 minutes to get ready other times I can get away with 30 minutes, so it’s nice to not worry about my hair too.
Savvy Curls is an easy way to get beautiful curls without heat. They have a variety of different prints and styles. For a thicker and longer hair they have a convertible curler, for the tutorial below I used my convertible wrap as a single wrap for more of a wavy look. If I wanted more curls I would just re-attach the second band and use it in the same way. I’ve listed the products I used below. Using the Savvy Curl is super simple, grab sections of hair, pull it over the band and collect more hair as you go. (For $2 off use savvyc1 at checkout)
Once the first side is done, start on the other in the same way.
It will look something like this. It also a really cute style with the wrap in.
Sleep on it, or leave it in for a few hours. And in the morning just unwrap the hair section by section and it’s done!
I used pretty large sections for more of a wavy look. For tighter curls use smaller sections. :) I really like this black and white triangle print. Savvy Curls was nice enough to offer my readers $2 off any wrap! Just use savvyc1 at checkout. Happy Thursday! Xoxo.
